Music and Dance Concerts

One World, One Stage: The BaliSpirit Festival of Yoga, Dance and Music is a leading light among world events inspiring travel, creative expression, harmony in diversity and cross-cultural learning. Since its inception in 2008, the Festival has welcomed some of the world’s most innovative and transformative performers to our majestic outdoor stage in Ubud. Combining over 95 yoga, dance and music workshops with a nightly world music program, this annual celebration provides a platform for inspiration and positive change.

Now entering its sixth season, the BaliSpirit Festival was named among Asia’s 6 Best Music Festivals (Travelwire Asia, 2012) and is emerging as an international destination of choice among music, dance and culture lovers. Celebrating the lush beauty, culture and creativity of Bali, the BaliSpirit Festival features a rich program of traditional Indonesian performing arts through internationally known artists like Cudamani, youth performing arts ensemble Gamelan Kryasta Guna, and Bali Arts Conservatory Professor and dance and drama expert, I Wayan Dibia. Inspired by the capacity for music to cross boundaries, celebrate diversity, and bring people together, the BaliSpirit Festival fosters creative fusions of cultural expression: Collaborative projects have synthesized contemporary Senegalese music and Balinese gamelan gong kebyar, Brazilian processional drumming and beleganjur, and American hip hop and kecak.
